The first book to show the architecture by Flores & Prats, an architecture studio founded in 1998 in Barcelona, which combines the design and building practice with an intense academic activity at different universities. After their experience at Enric Miralles' studio, Ricardo Flores and Eva Prats developed a career in which research has always been linked to the responsibility for making and constructing and a great interest in carrying out and building the projects, so that these can count with the freedom of interpretation that built work has.

The book sprang from an invitation by Arquine publishing house. It collects their work in different fields such as rehabilitation, social housing, public space, neighbour's participation and university workshops, all of them shown from a process material that allows taking part in its evolution. It includes their best-known works such as the Museum of the Mills, the Yutes Warehouse, Plaza Pio XII, Casal Balaguer's fantastic rehabilitation which we presented to you some months ago, Campus Microsoft Italia, 111 Building and Sala Beckett Theatre and also researches on mobile and portable projects like the House in a Suitcase or the Mireia Jewellery Cabinet. It also collects their experiences in the use of films in order to document architecture, or their recent menus on edible architecture developed for their work exhibitions both in Barcelona and Copenhagen.

With writings by Miquel Adrià, Manuel de Solà-Morales, Adrià Goula, Toni Casares, Soraya Smithson y Miralda, and a critical essay by Juan José Lahuerta.
